Krista Raynor & Johnathan Caldwell
We’re excited to celebrate the wedding of Krista Raynor & Johnathan Caldwell here at Triple T Farm! We interviewed the happy couple in preparation for the big day to find out how they met, how he popped the question, what they are most excited about, and what they’ve learned throughout the planning process.
Tell us how you met one another.
Just after I (Krista) had given up on dating and lost my Grandmother I got a message on a dating app from a super cute, tall and handsome guy! After talking for a bit, we decided to meet in person. Our first date was at Buffalo Wild Wings for an Alabama Football game and eating wings (crazy eating wings on a first date, right?) haha. Ever since then we have been pretty much attached at the hip.
Tell us about the proposal!
Jonathan and I had talked about marriage and that we would need to wait until 2021 before getting engaged to be sure we had all of our ducks in a row financially. Roughly 2 weeks after that we, along with my Mother, went to Gulf Shores. Jonathan asked if we wanted to walk down the beach. The whole time we were walking I thought it was a bit weird that my mom had her phone up like she was filming or taking pictures but didn’t think anything of it. We got to an empty part of the beach and decided to take a picture. When I turned around after that picture Jonathan was down on one knee with the ring in his hand! It was everything I could’ve wished for!
What moment are you most looking forward to on your wedding day?
When I walk down the aisle and we see each other for the first time that day!
Why did you choose Triple T Farm?
We both loved everything about the farm. All of the ceremony locations, indoor space in case of rain, the courtyard and silos, EVERYTHING! The bridal house was also a very big plus!
What is the theme or style of your wedding?
I would like to think a little rustic, a little glam-ish. I don’t have on specific thing in mind.
Is there anything else you can tell us about your love story?
I (Krista) truly believe that he was sent to me to help me get through the difficulty of losing my Grandmother. Without him, I am not sure I would have survived that grief period.
Is there anything else you think future couples will find interesting or helpful about your wedding?
I think that the most interesting thing about the planning would be that I made almost every decoration being used and that my biggest helper was my Matron of Honor, who lives in Alaska!
Do you have any advice for future couples?
Enjoy the planning process and try not to stress! When it comes to decor and layout, you think you have plenty of time but it sneaks up on you! Try to gradually take care of things so that you are not scrambling last minute to get everything together!
Conclusion
Thank you so much to Krista and Johnathan for sharing their beautiful love story with us and for choosing to celebrate at Triple T Farm. It was a pleasure to share such a special day with you, your family, and your friends!
